i’m a guest on this week’s RADIO JERKS
the show is this thursday, january 28th, at 8pm PST (11 EST). i am very excited to be on this and i hope you’ll come listen! there will be no talk about my garden at all. come listen to me tell you about how “sister, sister” and “full house” made me a miserable 10 year old twin, share fond memories of favorite SNES games, and learn how to make your own fedex pope costume just in time for halloween.

I don’t have much to post about today because I have been really working hard on my radio show. The show is called Radio Jerks and it features my co-host Luke Maxwell from the internet. For the past few weeks we have been doing a retrospective on the 1990’s, but last week when the Conan hysteria happen we decided not to do one. We return this week with a look back at 1994 and 1995. Our guest for this week is Heather M who runs a tumblr called Corndog Ranch. It is going to be the best show yet so make sure you tune in at Tuesday at 8 PM Pacific Standard Time.
Here is the link. I will repost it thursday. You can listen to most of last week’s show (and hear me yell at Luke):

this post is from a plane
i’m going to new york city for the first time ever! i’m actually on the plane as i type this (november 5, 7:23pm eastern). to keep this somewhat on topic, i’m going to go to central park and walk in a crunchy autumnal setting at some point this weekend. i’m very excited to see seasons. in los angeles, it’s brown and warm all year long, except when it’s windy and warm, windy and brown, or STORMWATCH 2009. i’ve always grown up in warm areas, so i think it’ll be interesting to see what its like when it’s cold out (for me, under 60 F). i’m sure i’ll come back home with a new appreciation for southern california weather.
